OFPP and CAS Board Invite Public Comments on Proposed Rule to Clarify Exemption for Commercial Item Contracts and Subcontracts

The Office of Federal Procurement Policy (OFPP) and the Cost Accounting Standards Board (CAS Board) are seeking public comments on a proposed rule to simplify the exemption for contracts and subcontracts for the acquisition of commercial items, also known as the '(b)(6) commercial item exemption'.
