EPA Proposes Approval of Kentucky's Redesignation of Huntington-Ashland Nonattainment Area to Attainment

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve Kentucky's redesignation of the Huntington-Ashland fine particulate matter nonattainment area to attainment for the 1997 Annual PM 2.5 National Ambient Air Quality Standards. The proposal includes a maintenance plan for the Kentucky portion of the area, which comprises Boyd and Lawrence Counties.
