HUD Grants Regulatory Waivers for Sandy Disaster Relief in Multifamily Housing Programs

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has waived certain regulations to expedite the delivery of decent, safe, and sanitary housing to families and individuals displaced by Hurricane Sandy, allowing property owners to defer compliance for up to 60 days.
