EPA Revises Stormwater Regulations to Exempt Logging Roads

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is updating its Phase I stormwater regulations to clarify that stormwater discharges from logging roads are not subject to the same requirements as industrial activities, and therefore do not need a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit.
