Update to TR-12 Fuel Related Rate Adjustment Policy for Freight and Transportation Services

The Surface Transportation Board of Review (SDDC) will begin using a mileage-based formula to calculate Fuel Related Rate Adjustments (FRA) for freight and transportation services, effective June 1, 2013, for all types of shipments except Defense Transportation Coordination (DTC) and Protective Security Service Freight Contract (PSSFC) shipments at Defense Distribution Center, Warner Robins, GA (DDWG). The current line-haul formula will remain in effect for less-than-truckload (LTL) and Personal Property (PP) shipments, with a slight increase in the line-haul increment factor.
