Rate for Assessment on Direct Payment of Fees to Representatives in 2013

The Social Security Administration has announced a 6.3% assessment percentage rate for 2013 for direct payments of fees to representatives under the Social Security Act. This rate applies to fees paid to representatives under sections 206(d) and 1631(d)(2)(C) of the Act, as specified in 42 U.S.C. 406(d) and 1383(d)(2)(C).
