Nuclear Regulatory Commission Approves Application to Downgrade Safety Assessment for Two Units at Turkey Point Nuclear Plant

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has approved an application by Exelon Corporation to downgrade the safety assessment for Units 3 and 4 at the Turkey Point Nuclear Plant in Illinois, from a 'No Significant Hazards Consideration' determination to a 'Significant Hazard Consideration' determination, as part of a proposed license amendment.
