Nuclear Regulatory Commission Modifies Licenses for Boiling-Water Reactors with Mark I and Mark II Containment
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has issued an order modifying licenses for all operating boiling-water reactors with Mark I and Mark II containment designs, effective immediately, to ensure reliable hardened containment vents can operate under severe accident conditions.
