U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Requests Action on Three Nuclear Power Plants

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has received a petition from a coalition of environmental groups, including Alliance for a Green Economy and Beyond Nuclear, requesting the NRC to take action regarding the James A. Fitzpatrick Nuclear Power Plant, Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station, and Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station.
