US NRC Grants Exemption for Low-Activity Radioactive Waste Disposal at Idaho Facility

The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has issued an environmental assessment and determined that the exemption from licensing for disposal of low-activity radioactive waste from the Safety Light Corporation site in Pennsylvania will not have a significant impact on the environment at the US Ecology Idaho Resource Conservation and Recovery Act disposal facility in Idaho.
