U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Proposes Amendment to Spent Fuel Storage Regulations for Holtec International's HI-STORM 100 Cask System

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is proposing to update its regulations for spent fuel storage by revising the Holtec International HI-STORM 100 Cask System listing to include Amendment No. 9 to Certificate of Compliance (CoC) No. 1014, which broadens subgrade requirements and updates thermal models for the HI-TRAC transfer cask.
