Nuclear Regulatory Commission Extends Public Comment Period for Material Control and Accounting Rule

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission is rescheduling a public meeting and extending the public comment period for a proposed rule and draft guidance on material control and accounting of special nuclear material due to stakeholder requests and inclement weather.
