NHTSA Mandates Online Recall Reporting Portal for Manufacturers, Offers Training Sessions

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is requiring automakers to submit safety recall reports and associated documents online starting August 2014, with the option to attend training sessions from July 28 to August 8, 2014, to learn how to use the new portal.
