Aston Martin Lagonda Limited Granted Temporary Exemption from New Side Impact Protection Requirements
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has partially granted a petition from Aston Martin Lagonda Limited, a small volume manufacturer, for a temporary exemption from new side impact protection requirements of FMVSS No. 214, allowing the company to produce up to 670 vehicles without the new pole test requirements.
