Federal Management Regulation; Change in Consumer Price Index Minimal Value

The public law governing the receipt and disposal of foreign gifts and decorations requires a review of the minimal value every three years, starting from January 1, 1981, to reflect changes in the Consumer Price Index. As of January 1, 2014, the minimal value has been updated to $375 or less, following a consultation between the Administrator of General Services and the Secretary of State.
