FCC Updates Rules for 2.3 GHz Band to Enable Broadband Services
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has updated its rules to allow Wireless Communications Service (WCS) licensees to deploy broadband services in the 2.3 GHz band while protecting other services, including Sirius XM Radio Inc. and aeronautical mobile telemetry operations. The revised rules aim to balance the needs of WCS licensees and other users in the 2.3 GHz band.
