FCC Proposes Changes to Telecommunications Relay Services Rules to Clarify iTRS and CTS Standards

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is proposing to update its rules for telecommunications relay services by removing standards for internet-based relay services and public switched telephone network-based captioned telephone services, which are deemed inapplicable or technologically unfeasible for these services, in order to provide greater clarity and certainty for users and providers of these services.
