FDA Extends Comment Period for Self-Monitoring Blood Glucose Test Systems Guidance

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is extending the comment period for its draft guidance on self-monitoring blood glucose test systems for over-the-counter use until May 7, 2014, in response to requests for an extension. The FDA initially requested comments on the draft guidance in January 2014.
