FDA to Explore Expansion of Conditional Approval for New Animal Drugs

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is launching an exploration process to expand the use of conditional approval for new animal drugs, following a stated performance goal outlined in the Animal Drug User Fee Amendments of 2013 (ADUFA III). The agency is seeking public comments on the potential expansion of conditional approval to additional categories of new animal drugs.
