FDA Releases Draft Guidance for Interoperable Exchange of Product Tracing Information

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has made available a draft guidance outlining the standards for the interoperable exchange of information for tracing certain human, finished, prescription drugs, as required by the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FD&C Act). The guidance aims to facilitate the exchange of product tracing information among trading partners through existing systems and processes.
