U.S. Extends Temporary Protected Status for Sudan for 18 Months

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has extended the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) designation for Sudan for 18 months, from November 3, 2014, through May 2, 2016, allowing currently eligible beneficiaries to retain their status until May 2, 2016, as long as they continue to meet the eligibility requirements.
