Flood Hazard Determinations Updated for Multiple Communities

The US government has finalized changes to flood hazard determinations for several communities, which will be used to calculate flood insurance premium rates for new buildings and their contents, according to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The updates are reflected in the latest Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) documents, which revise Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs) and Flood Insurance Study (FIS) reports for the affected areas.
