Agency Information Collection Activities; Proposed eCollection eComments Requested; Revision of a Currently Approved Collection; Application for Tax Exempt Transfer and Registration of Firearm-ATF Form 5 (5320.5)

The Department of Justice (DOJ), Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), will submit the following information collection request to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review and approval in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. The proposed information collection OMB 1140-0015 (Application for Tax Exempt Transfer and Registration of Firearm--ATF Form 5 (5320.5)), is being revised due to material changes to the form, including additional questions, definition of terminology used in the collection instrument, and updates to the instructions.
