DEA Places 4-Chloromethcathinone in Schedule I of Controlled Substances Act

The Drug Enforcement Administration has issued a final rule placing 4-chloromethcathinone, a synthetic stimulant, under strict regulatory controls, effective immediately, in response to the United States' obligations under the 1971 Convention on Psychotropic Substances.
