FDA Approves New Drug for Anxiety Treatment, DEA Places in Schedule IV

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved Zulresso (brexanolone) for anxiety treatment on March 19, 2019, and the DEA has placed it in Schedule IV of the Controlled Substances Act (CSA) following a recommendation from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
