U.S. Government Sues Sinclair Broadcast Group Over Alleged Violations of Federal Law

The U.S. Department of Justice has filed a proposed final judgment against Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc., alleging that the company engaged in a scheme to coerce local news anchors into promoting the Republican Party's platform, in violation of federal law.
