Bureau of Prisons Proposes Changes to Good Conduct Time Credit Under First Step Act

The Bureau of Prisons is proposing modifications to its Good Conduct Time credit regulations to align with recent legislative changes under the First Step Act, which would recalculate the release dates of most current inmates, but the change will not take effect until the Attorney General completes the risk and needs assessment system.
