CDC Opens Public Comment Docket on Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza H5N1 Viruses from the Goose/Guangdong/1/96 Lineage

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is seeking public input on the potential threat of HPAI H5N1 viruses containing a hemagglutinin from the Goose/Guangdong/1/96 lineage to public health and safety, which could lead to a revision of the HHS Select Agent Regulations.
