HRSA MCHB to Update Title V MCH Block Grant Allocations Using ACS Poverty Estimates Starting in 2013

The Health Resources and Services Administration's Maternal and Child Health Bureau plans to update the State Title V MCH Block Grant allocations starting in 2013, using the U.S. Census Bureau's 3-year American Community Survey poverty estimates. The changes will be based on a rolling average of the 3-year ACS poverty estimates to balance precision and currency.
