Bureau of Reclamation Announces Environmental Impact Statement and Public Scoping Meetings for Navajo Generating Station-Kayenta Mine Complex Project

The Bureau of Reclamation, in collaboration with the Bureau of Indian Affairs and Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement, is preparing an Environmental Impact Statement for the proposed Navajo Generating Station-Kayenta Mine Complex Project, with the goal of extending the project's operation and maintenance through December 22, 2044.
