Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill: Final Restoration Plan Released

The U.S. government has released a final plan to restore natural resources damaged by the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill, in compliance with the Oil Pollution Act of 1990 and the National Environmental Policy Act. The plan outlines 44 specific projects to be implemented in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida.
