BOEM Announces Final Sale Notice for Commercial Wind Leases Offshore Maryland

The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) is offering two commercial wind energy leases on the Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) offshore Maryland through a multiple factor auction format, following a 60-day public comment period. The leases, which comprise the Maryland Wind Energy Area, will be awarded based on competing bids and will be executed by the selected lessees.
