Bishop Museum Completes Inventory of Human Remains, Opens Door for Transfer to Lineal Descendants or Native Hawaiian Organizations

The Bishop Museum has completed its inventory of human remains, determining a cultural affiliation with present-day Indian tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations. Lineal descendants or representatives of unlisted tribes can submit a written request to transfer control of the remains.
