U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Reverses Decision on Arctic Grayling Listing
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has decided not to list the Upper Missouri River distinct population segment of Arctic grayling as an endangered or threatened species under the Endangered Species Act of 1973, citing improvements in habitat conditions and population stability. The decision removes the species from the candidate list, but the agency invites the public to submit new information about potential threats.
