Stephen F. Austin State University Completes Inventory of Human Remains, Opens Transfer Process for Lineal Descendants and Native American Organizations

The university has completed an inventory of human remains and associated funerary objects, determining a cultural affiliation with present-day Native American tribes, and is now accepting requests from lineal descendants or representatives of unlisted tribes to transfer control of the remains.
