University of Michigan Completes Inventory of Human Remains and Associated Funerary Objects

The University of Michigan has completed an inventory of human remains and associated funerary objects, concluding that there is no cultural affiliation with any present-day Native American tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations. Representatives of unrepresented tribes can submit a written request to transfer control of the remains and objects.
