Klamath National Forest Prepares Environmental Impact Statement for Crawford Vegetation Management Project

The Klamath National Forest is preparing an environmental impact statement (EIS) for the Crawford Vegetation Management Project, which aims to improve forest health and biodiversity on approximately 1,467 acres, potentially affecting the Northern Spotted Owl and its habitat. The project, originally proposed in 2011, will be evaluated through a more comprehensive EIS process, with Forest Supervisor Patricia Grantham overseeing the effort.
