Expansion of the Sta. Rita Hills Viticultural Area

The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) is expanding the Sta. Rita Hills viticultural area in Santa Barbara County, California, by approximately 2,296 acres, bringing the total area to 33,380 acres. This expansion aims to provide vintners with more precise origin information for their wines and help consumers identify the wines they purchase.
