IRS Corrects Proposed Regulations for Reporting Qualified Tuition and Related Expenses

The IRS has issued corrections to proposed regulations for reporting qualified tuition and related expenses, which were initially published in the Federal Register on August 2, 2016, and were intended to conform to changes made by the Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes Act of 2015.
