Time Limit for Completion of Voluntary Self-Disclosures and Revised Notice of the Institution of Administrative Enforcement Proceedings

The Bureau of Industry and Security has introduced new rules requiring companies to submit comprehensive narrative accounts of export violations within 180 days of receiving an initial notification, and allowing for alternative delivery methods for charging letters, in an effort to streamline administrative enforcement proceedings and improve notice delivery.
