DEA to Hold Hearing on Proposed Rescheduling of Marijuana

The Drug Enforcement Administration will hold a hearing on June 29, 2026, to consider a proposed rescheduling of marijuana from its current Schedule I classification to Schedule III under the Controlled Substances Act, following an initial proposal published in the Federal Register on May 21, 2024.
