NMFS Announces 90-Day Finding on Petition to Delist North Pacific Humpback Whale Population
The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is initiating a 90-day status review of the North Pacific population of the humpback whale, following a petition to delist the population under the Endangered Species Act (ESA), after finding substantial scientific and commercial information indicating the petitioned action may be warranted.
