National Marine Fisheries Service Extends Comment Period for 2006 Consolidated Highly Migratory Species Fishery Management Plan Amendment 7

The National Marine Fisheries Service is extending the comment period for Amendment 7 to the 2006 Consolidated Highly Migratory Species Fishery Management Plan to address bluefin tuna management due to recent trends and characteristics of the bluefin fishery, in order to prevent overfishing, achieve optimal yield, and minimize bycatch.
