90-Day Finding on Alabama Shad Petition Under Endangered Species Act

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is announcing a 90-day finding on a petition to list the Alabama shad as threatened or endangered under the Endangered Species Act (ESA), and designating critical habitat concurrently with the listing, following substantial scientific or commercial information indicating the petitioned action may be warranted.
