NOAA to Remove 'Magenta Line' Route from Nautical Charts

NOAA is removing the 'Magenta Line' route from its nautical charts due to safety concerns, and invites comments on whether to include it in the future. The route, known as the recommended route for recreational and commercial boaters, has not been consistently updated since 1936.
