ATF Proposes Changes to Importation Definition for Customs-Bonded Warehouses and Foreign-Trade Zones

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) is proposing amendments to the definition of 'importation' in the Gun Control Act (GCA) and the National Firearms Act (NFA), which would exempt certain items from import requirements when brought into customs-bonded warehouses and foreign-trade zones.
