US EPA Establishes Time-Limited Tolerance for Sulfur Dioxide on Figs

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has set a maximum permissible level of 10 parts per million for sulfur dioxide residues on figs, allowing for emergency use of a pesticide under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA).
