TRICARE: Final Rule to Address Unfortunate Sequelae from Noncovered Services in Military Treatment Facilities

The Department of Defense is publishing a final rule to allow coverage for complications resulting from noncovered services in a Military Treatment Facility, in an effort to protect TRICARE beneficiaries from financial hardships. The rule aims to address the current regulatory restrictions that prevent coverage for these complications, even when they occur in a Department of Defense facility.
