EPA Approves Revision to Indiana State Implementation Plan for Air Quality

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved a revision to the Indiana State Implementation Plan (SIP) submitted by the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) on November 24, 2010. The revision includes amendments to the state's miscellaneous metal and plastic parts surface coating rules, which meet the requirements of the Clean Air Act for volatile organic compound (VOC) reasonably available control technology (RACT) rules.
