EPA Proposes Test Rule and Significant New Use Rule for 23 High Production Volume Chemicals

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to require manufacturers and processors of 23 high production volume (HPV) chemical substances to develop health, environmental, and fate data, and to notify the agency before using these chemicals in consumer products or in a way that exposes 1,000 or more workers.
